Doctors Appointment & Update

On Monday I had my 32 week check-up and really no news to report, everything is as it should be. I am starting to go to the doctors every 2 weeks now and in March it will be every week. I am giving birth at St. Lukes Roosevelt Hospital, last night we had Birthing Class #3, where we toured the hospital and got to see newborns, they are so tiny and cute. I can't believe we will be bringing home a little one in about 2 months. We are learning a lot from the classes, there is so much information but all good to know. Joey thinks the teacher tells us "too much information" sometimes.

This much I know...

Six years ago, I married this guy and it was the best decision I ever made. He's my best friend, makes me laugh, holds me accountable and yes, gets on my nerves. We have such a good time together and I don't see myself with anyone one else. He protects me, takes care of me and he does the dishes, who could ask for anything more! I look forward to watching him be a father to our daughter, making her laugh, taking her on long walks and changing her diapers...I know he's looking forward to that too. :)

Guess who came knocking on our door last night?? Marcela and Jonathan!! Joey and I could not believe our eyes, he was so precious and so little. We both starred at him most of the night in awe of every little move he made. I can't believe in about 3 months we are going to have someone this little living in our house!! He is such a good baby, he slept most of the time but about 20 minutes before they left he opened his eyes and was probably wondering who are these people holding me?!?! I can't wait for Jonathan and Baby Rodriguez to have their first playdate.

Update and 28.5 weeks

Sorry about the light posts lately; with out of town guests, holiday parties and just life in general I was not very good at blogging but promise to be better going forward. I had a doctors appointment today and everything is going well. Somewhere between Christmas and New Years my belly really seemed to have popped and everyone noticed. The baby's heartbeat is strong, I passed my glucose test with flying colors and my weight gain is right on target. The baby weights about 2.5 lbs and her brain is growing in leaps and bounds. The little bean has been jumping around a lot lately but that is to be expected. I love watching my stomach after I eat in the evening, she'll give me a kick or a punch every know and again and it is the coolest thing to see.

Joey and I are getting very excited the closer we get to the due date and it dawned on me the other day that I am going to have a baby this year!!! Whoa! I used to say I'm going to have a baby next year - not anymore. It's still so surreal.
