Visit to Mike and Kristie's in Hoboken, NJ

Last weekend we crossed the Hudson and ventured into New Jersey to visit with our friends Kristie and Mike and their new addition Tucker.  Hoboken is such a cute area with amazing views of the city, it's also very family friendly with a plethora of spacious restaurants.  We strolled the waterfront and enjoyed the fresh Jersey air (ha!) -- there was this random garbage smell that permeates the streets, it's true Jersey has a  certain smell.

Ava enjoyed watering Kristie's freshly planted flowers while Mike fired up the grill.  We ate LOVELY!  Nothing like eating with Italians, good food, good wine and the best of company.  I was the only one there that was not Italian, even my kiddos are 1/4 Italian.  And I was able to upload these shots with Instagram, it's the best photo app out there.  Love how my pics look, may use this going forward.
