Florida Trip Continued - University of Florida

On one of our last days in the Gator Nation we visited my Alma mater, The University of Florida.  I have such great memories of going to school here.  I got saved in college and my relationship with the Lord grew in leaps and bounds, met some of the most amazing women, many who I ended up living with and had a sweet time getting to know God.  I think of that time fondly and often.  Going to the Gator football games were a highlight of my college days, the chanting of Orange and Blue, representing with our UF gear and just being with friends...it's what college is all about.  It's something I want all my kids to experience one day.

Heading out for the day

Summer trip to Florida

Wow, I have been really bad about updating this blog. We have been having so much fun this summer that it's completely escaped me. A couple of weeks ago we went to Gainesville to visit my side of the family. Aiden met his Nana, Grandpa, Auntie Kristi and cousins for the first time. Here are a few tons of pictures from our trip. Not much to say except we were at the pool nearly everyday soakin' up that Florida sunshine.

Aiden loved chasing after the girls with Daddy.

Aiden and his buddy Amalia, they were inseparable.  What a HUGE help she was, I almost brought her back to New York with us.

It's not Woody that is makin my boy smile like that, it's his cousin, Amalia.

He was not happy when Amalia took off in the ATV.

Ava and Daddy goin for a ride.

No vacation to Florida is complete without a trip to Publix.  I heart Publix!!!

Ava and her friends Ruby and Sable.

My silly girl.

Hangin out in the woods, my Mom lives in the Boondocks, no lie.

We celebrated Regann's birthday on our last night there.

I have more pictures to add from our visit to UF.  Stay tuned.

Billyburg with Avita for the Day

Our 3-year old is full of energy and fun to be around. Joey and I took a day off of work before vacation started to spend a day with Ava. We took her to Williamsburg, Brooklyn. If we had our way we would live in Billyburg or somewhere nearby, they have tons of stuff for kids and adults. Who knows, maybe one day...first stop Kidz Klub. Ava was over this place in about an hour. As you can see, I joined in on the fun, I'm not just a spectator. The beauty of parenthood is that you get to re-live your childhood or do it better!!

We stumbled across a block party for kids, ugh, we MUST move here!!!

Fornino pizza!!!  Some of the best in NYC.
