It was another beautiful weekend in the Northeast so the Rodriguez Crew headed outside once again. This time we stayed in our borough and hot Flushing Meadow Park. It was not as crowded as Central Park last weekend, thankfully! We could actually walk. Our plan was to make it to the zoo but we got going a little late as Ava decided to snooze a little extra longer this afternoon. We started off with a ride on the carousel, had some ice cream and played some ball all while Ava mooned the park. After our day at Flushing Meadows we headed to Long Island City for some BBQ and on our way home our munchkin was fast asleep and a little sun kissed.

A Day in Central Park
Saturday was by far, the most beautiful day of the year. It was 75 degrees, the sun was shining and there was no humidity, all equalling -- the perfect day. We decided to head to Central Park, along with everyone else in New York City. The park was packed, it was difficult to walk along the paths in the park because there were so many people! We kind of expected it so we just found a spot and relaxed for a while. Ava found plenty to do while we were chillin' on the grass.
I just love being in the park with Mommy and Daddy

Happy Easter!!
Last Easter I had just given birth to our bundle of joy and was laid up in a hospital bed. This year we have a one-year old that does not allow any kind of lying down. We were up by 6:30am watching Ne-Hao-Kai-Lan for all you Noggin fans out there. Went to church and then came home for lunch. It was a very low-key Easter and something tells me probably our last. Here is our attempt at taking an Easter picture.
