Tummy Time

Here are a few shots of Aiden workin out his neck muscles. The first few minutes he enjoys tummy time then he starts to scream and wants to be put on his back. Both the kids got a round of shots last week, Aiden didn't cry until the second one was over - what a man! Ava had to get shots as well, glad she doesn't need anymore until she is four...that was not fun, so glad Mimi was there to lighten the blow and took her mind off her pain. Everyone is doing great and Ava and I are getting over the second round of sickness, does it ever end?

Hangin' with Daniel

Last weekend we headed to Riverdale to visit with Ava's cousin Daniel. When we got there Daniel was still napping but that didn't stop Ava from entering his room and playing with his toys - while he was sleeping...needless to say he was a little upset when he woke up to find her playing with his stuff - hey, I would be upset too. Ava loved playing with his toys and walked around saying, "this is Ava's" -- she doesn't use the word "mine." Momma was quick to let her know that all the toys were Daniel's and that she had to share. She plays well with other kids and even takes a push and a shove pretty well but something tells me that's going to change when her brother is old enough to start playing with her.

Kiddos

Lately Ava loves holding her brother and cries when it's time for her to give him back. Aiden absolutely loves Ava and if she's talking he immediately starts looking for her and smiles once he sees her. They are adorable together. Ava sings to him and he will sing back to her, well, it's more cooing then singing. Aiden even likes when Bailey goes nose to nose with him, he will try to look at him and his eyes cross. I hope this loving relationship carries into their teens.

Home Alone

This past week I've had both Ava and Aiden home with me as Lela is on vacation and have I had my hands full. Ava loves breakfast time as she can feed herself, I use that time to run around the house getting things done as I know she is at the table. This week has not been without it's bumps. Ava loves to sing and when she ends her song she claps and says, "Bravo!" and bows well this day she bowed right on the edge of our coffee table. I could not believe the amount of blood that came out, I was really panicking and all she kept saying was "it's ok mama" -- it made my heart melt. I felt so bad, she did not want her picture taken but I couldn't resist. One day I got everyone to sleep at the same time, even Bailey, too bad I had just had a cup of coffee or I would have joined them. *sigh*

Girls Just Want to Have Fun

This weekend was Sofia's birthday. One night we went over their house for a little party. And that weekend we went to Bounce-U. Ava loves that place as jumping is one of her all time favorite thing to do. She bounced herself tired and actually asked us to go take a nap when she got home, she slept over 3 hours!

Joey put on the gloves and got in the ring

Aiden was a really good boy while the girls played

Parks and Recreation

Wow, it's been a long time since I posted, longer then I thought. Time flies when you have kids and are super busy. After a nasty illness hit out entire household we are now all back on our feet. We had family come into town and have just been enjoying the warm temps this Spring had to offer. Without much narration here are some photos from our random visits to the various parks and sometime with my sister Tara and her daughter Regann.

Side note: when Tara came over to our house she brought some clothes with her and decided to put my daughter in everything she brought, Ava loved it. Just wanted to explain why she is in all those crazy clothes.
