After church Joey and the kids took me to South Street Seaport, we have not been here in years. The place has changed so much, there are a lot of cool restaurants, a beer garden (on the water) and lots of cute little shops. My munchkins were on their best behavior. It was an absolutely gorgeous day, we enjoyed the water and the sun, we walked around and the kids had a blast. It was a great time. We finished off the afternoon with some ice cream. As we were walking back to the subway I took this picture of the Freedom Tower.

Vacation without the kiddos
I'm still behind on the posting, last month Joey and I took a trip to SoBe for 4 days and left the kids with Lela and Lelo in NY. While we lounged on the beach sipping Miami Vices, the kids jetted off to Central Park Zoo and Times Square. We didn't take many pictures in Miami, we literally were on the beach or at the pool all day and ate dinner around 9pm each night...not our usual schedule to say the least. I used to live in Miami and Joey has been here enough so we kept the site seeing to a minimum.
One of our favorite places turned out to be Lincoln Road. Much has changed since I lived there in the late 90's, we think we liked it so much because it reminds us of NYC, large crowds, live music and pretty good food. We dined al fresco every night.

We got fried at the pool, walked around and got fried some more.
Joey's daily cuban coffee stop.
NYC had nice cool Spring weather. Perfect for a day at the zoo.

Easter 2012
After going through my camera roll I realized I'm really far behind on posting. We've been doing so much that it's hard to keep up and post every event. I found pictures from Easter. We painted eggs and had an Easter Egg hunt in our garden. Daddy hid the eggs while Ava and Aiden waited (im)patiently upstairs. It was fun and the kids enjoyed the thrill of the hunt. Ava was really sweet and helped her little brother find some eggs. Afterwards we blew some bubbles and ran around to burn off all the candy.

In the Heights
Here are some random pictures from about the past four months around our neighborhood, Jackson Heights, Queens. I forgot I had these on my phone.
Playing in our laundry room.
Clearly you can see who the clown in the family is...takes after his Daddy.
Hangin with her buddy Anton.
Popcicles in our garden.
