As requested, here are more pictures of little Ava. She is such an angel, she sleeps a lot as you can see from the pictures and loves to eat. She makes the sweetest noises when she sleeps and we've caught her laughing a few times in her sleep. We just stare at her all the time and still can't believe that she is ours.

Oh I almost forgot...
Joey and I felt her hiccup the other night. A few of my girlfriends had asked me if I had felt it yet and I hadn't, I kept wondering when/if I was going to feel it and the other night I had a glass of lemonade and sure enough she got the hiccups. It was the cutest thing and Joey got to feel it too.

Our bag is packed...

My task today was to get the hospital bag packed, I was told I should have done it a couple of weeks ago but now is better then too late, right?? I packed myself and the little one an outfit to wear home. Hopefully she likes what I picked out. I have about 12 more days until my due date and feel pretty good.
My doctor has told me I need to work from home as I have had excessive swelling in my legs and feet. She says that's normal this late in the pregnancy and sees it a lot up here since women commute on the subway instead of walking out their front door to their cars to drive to work. So I work from home on my lap top with my feet up which is more difficult then I thought. My belly gets in the way of trying to keep my feet elevated, but I manage. Baby Center says our baby is as big as a leek. I was in the grocery store today and saw a leek, it's pretty big, but I have to remember that the leek in my belly is bent in half :)
I have developed the worst habit while pregnant and that is crunching on ice. It's ridiculous and I have to have it all the time. It can't be good for my teeth and I hope it leaves when the baby comes because I know it drives people around me crazy...it drives me crazy!

37 weeks - Full Term
I am now 37 weeks which is full term and means that her lungs should be completely mature and she can adjust to life outside the womb. The doctor thinks she weights about 6 1/2 lbs. now. In the past week I have started to feel a heaviness in my pelvic area which is supposed to indicate that she is dropping. I've had mixed comments about how I am carrying, some think I've already dropped but others say I'm still carrying high. What do you think?
There is only one word for me at this point and that is huge! Sound sleep is rare and getting comfortable is just out of the question. If it doesn't stretch I don't put it on.
